About Us Four

I'm from Chicago, originally, and hubs is from Dayton.  We met in college in 1999, at a bar (classy, I know).  We were always meant to be, as opposites attract, but long-distance got in the way.  We reconnected in 2003, when we ran into each other in Las Vegas on a random weekend with separate groups of friends.  The rest, as they say, is history!  We moved in together in Chicago in March of 2004, got engaged in May of the same year, got our first baby, our mutt, Cincy, and were married in April of 2005.
Soon after wedded bliss, we took off on our adventure to Ohio.  We moved to the Cincinnati area, which is where we still reside, as happy suburbanites.  Hubs is a computer programmer and I teach HS science.  Life was good.

We found out we were going to become a family of 3 in October of 2006, and our little T arrived in June of 2007.  He has been the most amazing blessing.  T is now a 4-year-old preschooler, who loves cars, soccer, being outside and talking our ears off.

Adding to our family wasn't quite as easy the second time around.  We struggled a long time with SIF (read my SIF tab and/or my linked blog for more details on our journey.  We were heartbroken, thinking we would never be able to give T a sibling.  Thankfully, God is good, and so is our RE...so in August of 2010, we found out we were blessed yet again.  Our little girl, B, was born in April 2011.

I am a shoe-addict, exercise-aholic who loves sports and my family.  I am an avid, competitive runner, and have an amazing life married to my best friend, and still wadding through parenthood.

This blog is my electronic journal on the trials and tribulations of motherhood, as a full-time working & running mom of two, while still maintaining and fostering my relationship with my hubby.  I'm still learning how to juggle it all.  Come on this journey with me!
